Today was the longest lesson day of the week and I hardly made it back alive. Oh god!
I tried to stay alive and succeeded! My first lesson was Chinese and we did comprehension correction, which was fine until I got bored of copying corrections! Then out of the sudden Mdm Zhang just pop out of nowhere to see my answer and I got a fright. Thank goodness I finished the homework and the answer was of some sort of quality. So, the whole Chinese lesson went by just doing corrections, and I survived. This is just the start.
Next was English and hell the room was cold. I could bet the temperature was about 15 degree Celsius and although I am sitting in the middle I was nearly frozen. However we had a lot of laughter during class because Ms Tham was awesome! Her English was so good and I think she can teach English more than geography. She taught me geography when I was in Secondary 2 and she was a new teacher then. Anyway, I was so cold I could hardly care much of the others. We set our target for mid year exam and being me, I set a B3. I see people aiming A2 and A1 but I guess I want to be realistic. In fact, ever since Secondary 1 I have never thought much for English except for passing. Pass is already good for me. But now I am aiming a B3! But because of listening and oral, I think I can attain it. Teacher say we should aim high and quoted “Aim for the moon because even if you fail, you will land among the star”. That’s why Ms Tham is not a science teacher. Cough cough Stars are much further than the moon ahem And although I walked out of the class unfrozen, I feel as if I walked into a Suana when I exited the aircon room. You can imagine the coldness I have experienced the past hour.
Elementary maths (emaths) was always easy and usually I do not use much brain to do. But funnily, for chapter 11 of Secondary 3 maths (Quartiles, Percentiles blah blah) I am super careless. I hate being careless okay? But this is me. Beside being careless and doing wrongly due to carelessness, the topic is too easy for me and we will be doing box-and-whiskers thing soon. How I love the name! Adorable <3 And after that we can start on Secondary 4 topics Finally..
Social studies was pretty the same routine. I go to class, take out old homework and rush in class. Mr Chong, on the other hand, will ignore and go on with his lessons. Me, will be alert when I have to copy the significance and then continue my homework. He will give us time to do work and I will finish it and hand up and it will not be considered late because I hand up on time! Today was a little different because 4I class’s projector was ruined somehow and we went to compass room (the room I had my freezing English lessons). Luckily it was not that cold this time, in fact, just right. I finished homework and slacked off. Towards the end of the lesson, I was really bored okay?! I just want to eat my skittles!
My favourite.
When I walked out of the room because school have ended, I got the horror of my life. It’s raining heavily and I got drenched by the time I was home. Drenched head to toe. Worse for me was, my books were wet too! The waiting time for bus was ridiculous too. When will they start having more bus so I do not have to wait 15 minutes for just one bus >_<
Well that’s a summary of my day and hope you guys have a great day ahead too! (:
