2am’s special [one Spring day]

So, today I am going to compile some goodies for 2am’s new album one spring day ^^ and the good news is that my album that I ordered have arrived! Is going to do a blogpost when I unpack it!! 😀

[TRANS] Naver Music Special: 2AM “One Spring Day” composers interview

<Interview 1: Kwon Soonkwan of Nori Fly>

Q: Out of all of 2AM’s songs, which was your favorite and why?
A: “This song” – Usually, when you first hear a song, you do not quite get the lyrics and its meaning. However, in “This song”, the lyrics were clear cut and thus it attracts people. Using words like ‘necklace’ or a ‘dashing car’ makes the song more realistic, so you could really visualize the scene in your head.

Q: Is there a style for a song that you makes you think “If only we could continue to sing this type of songs next time”?
A: Firstly, 2AM’s key must be compatible and compliment each other. If it goes according to my music, the main singer will have a hard time …. ^^ I was worried before that as compared to four people singing together, the emotions of the song would not be as expressed strongly as compared to an individual’s singing. However, all four of them had very strong vocal powers, they sing as one. I still can’t get enough of it.

Q: Please show some support for 2AM!
A: 2AM is now very popular and has tried various things. In this environment where it is so easy to be influenced, tempted and succumbed to change, they are still fiercely passionate about music. From the perfect preparation before they start to sing to how they readily process ideas and information, personally for me, I am very touched.

<Interview 2: Kim Dohoon >

Q: “I wonder if you hurt like me” and “One spring day”, these two songs were composed by you. Are these two songs specially written for 2AM?
A: These two songs are written after requested. 2AM has a very definite and special style so it is easy to find a theme. However, it will be difficult if we want a different change of style.

Q: Is there a style for a song that you makes you think “If only we could continue to sing this type of songs next time”?
A:  The member’s voices compliment each other’s. Being able to center around the main singer and work together and at the same time showcase their own individuality, many songs suit them. They are special because they can walk into people’s hearts and touch them with their songs, no matter what the style they use, it doesn’t matter. Perhaps next time, they can try lyrical rock?

<Interview 3: Epitone Project>

Q: When asked to write songs for 2AM, what was your first thought and feelings?
A: I was shocked because I really liked 2AM’s music, so I was also happy.

Q: What is the feeling when you are working together with 2AM?
A: Working with a busy schedule, the members were all concentrating on recording. After recording and checking the recordings, they were all very serious and passionate about it, this left a very deep impression on me.

Q: Please tell us more about the song, “Reading you”.
A: Reading someone’s past, rewinding back into time and reminiscing the moments and memories is the main concept of the song. I was troubled for a while thinking about how do I synchronise my music with 2AM.

A: Congratulations on your second full album! I will anticipate more and more amazing and dashing activities/events from you guys!

<Interview 4: Yiruma>

Q: After working with 2AM, what do you think 2AM’s charm is?
A: Every member’s personality is very distinct and fresh. Just like refreshing spring water ^^ Clean and pure.. a group that does not hide or pretends. This is the reason why its impossible to not love 2AM.

Q:  Is there a certain image that you want to see in 2AM’s second full album? 
A: Jo Kwon ^^ Long ago on, “We got married,” I saw that my song, “May be” was used as the wake up song. I was very shocked. Not only can he sing, he can play the piano too! It was beautifully played so I am anticipating the day where he takes over me as one who plays the piano and sings at the same time. When it is difficult, he can just ask me… Hehe…

A: This is mine and 2FACE’s composed song, “Coming to me”. Please support it! I hope that 2AM’s songs can give many people, especially those who are anticipating their own spring day, hope and love! 2AM forever!!!
