Doing a random post because i’m not done eating my curry puff yet :’D
Projects are really evil, cruel and realistic.
They help you see the true colors of your group mates, let you see your own character, and also to test your ability.
After one whole semester, I can say I’ve done quite a few projects. And during every project you’ll see me asking how is so and so as a group mate.
Because knowing your classmate is important.
I’ve more or less know who will make a very good group mate for project, and who to avoid like plague. From what I observed, most of my classmates have their own strengths and weaknesses.
However, who cares about strengths and weaknesses? What is more important is their attitude to the project.
If a group mate can ignore your messages, leave you out of discussion and solo most parts of project then this type of people I rather don’t work with them. Not that I’m not happy about having lesser things to do, but for me I prefer bonding with team members over projects.
And people who makes projects serious, boring and monotonous, don’t work with me. I like cheerful environment with the mood for jokes. Seriousness kills me off.
I’m praying in semester 2, my lecturers will grow some brains and give me some very nice group members (if they must choose for me). I hope I do not have to work with people who will overshadow me. If someone is way better than me, I confirm won’t do well, thanks to my strong inferiority complex.
