24-25 January 2015,
Went for Red Cross Leadership Camp. Honestly, not very excited for it. What for, when I am already dead exhausted this two weeks and I will gladly sleep through the weekend then to go back to kembangan to work myself to maximum exhaustion. But still, I went because yah, I just did. Turns out to be cooler than I expected and yeap, no regrets going. Even if I have to sleep at 1am to catch up on my studies, no regrets.
Have A&P discussion later and I don’t think they will be impressed by my work. Done within half an hour. But my researching skills actually not bad one leh. I one time can talk about SO many symptoms already.
Okay back to camp.
So me and Amelia went for the First Aid Course in the morning before going camp because yah, we had to. The trainer talk about his slip disc story for very long when I’m praying for early lunch >< Then we went to see the camp whatsapp group and realised the Cheryl in the whatsapp group is also the same Cheryl in the same class as us. Because we went to check her whatsapp picture and was like “eh, quite similiar eh?” but her picture disappeared after a while. Went to Bedok Mall with Cheryl and ate at MacD before going to Kembangan.
Kembangan changed a lot. One, the bus changed. You know how when we need to go to the campsite we need to cross the road and take bus 42 to the campsite. It used to be the old, want-to-break-apart type but the upgraded to 136 standard :D. The campsite looks better, the outside only though. So much memories of me bullshitting my way through my gold accreditation.
Dinner was pizza but i didn’t eat (thank god I ate beforehand) for obvious reason: I HATE CHEEZE… I think nobody can understand me because the whole world loves cheese and pizza. I wonder whyyyy?
The first game for the camp already killed all my brain cells. All I managed to solve was the easy stuff that I guess every body also can do sooo… But I am very proud that as a team we managed to complete the whole game/mission? So awesome, those people.
Then, they lie say what we have a break, but when we were in toilet THEY HAD A FIRE DRILL. I hate fire drills. Everyone panic and yup, it was a chaos.
After that there was one more blindfold game and much thanks to the broom and holy water that was disgusting… Eww, god knows how much bacteria that dumb broom have. And the leaf they used to tickle my chin, EWWWW, later grow pimples how 🙁
But after that was debrief and we went to bathe and wrote the letters we were tasked to. After that we played games until near 5am. Cards and forfeits HAHAHAHHAA all the disgusting pick up lines EWWW changed opinions of DBT students.
We woke up late on the second day though, like 9am when we were suppose to be down by 7am. Well, nobody woke us up and we didn’t get scolding but honestly, after being in a uniform group for 4 years I had so much fear when I woke up. I’m like shit, why sun so bright when I woke up… CRAPZ.
Water games for the whole morning and damn it, so much water and so much thanks. Very tiring but fun and I think I bonded with the awesome people a little more. After all the games one of the peeps saw senior taking group photo and asked us to photobomb them. ENDED UP WITH A TERRIBLE UNGLAM SHOT OF ME. ewwwww The amount of ewww goes to the moon and back.
Yup, went for lunch at the coffee shop of many memories. And first time walking to Bedok Mall from there to take MRT home.
A photo speaks a thousand words. I’m kinda apologetic because the photo collage don’t have seniors inside when they spent quite a lot of effort in planning this camp. Ooops. My face looks damn cui in the top picture because I was having no bb cream on. No make up at all :/ Yucks
