This video is damn awesome. Well done KBS. I think they blow a lot of money though. The ticket for Singapore Flyer is expensive, the chilli crab is expensive, and they ate at a restaurant omg. 💸💸
I’ve been on the Singapore Flyer once when I was wayyyy younger. It was like a huge capsule with many many people, but not crowded at all. I have a mild height phobia but it was quite manageable. Like, I wasn’t clinging to the rails or anything because it feels quite safe. It doesn’t look as luxurious as the one in the video though, so I guess they paid more for that private cabin thing. You can see Indonesia/Malaysia on a clear day at the very top, so it’s kinda cool
💰Damages (as of Nov 2017)
SGD$33 for adults | SGD$24 for seniors | SGD$21 for 3-12yrs old
I feel sad because they could have saved a ton of money if they chose to eat chilli crab at a hawker centre. Restuarant charges too much for chilli crab when they taste the same. Or maybe I’m not professional enough to taste the difference. Chilli crab and the man tou is the bombz.
Oh, and THAT IS NOT ALMOND PRAWN. Eww, I don’t really like almond and almond prawn sounds weird. It’s definitely cereal prawn, and we eat them all the time at Chinese Restuarant. The cereal is super good, and together with fleshy prawns, it’s heaven!🤤And finally, I found people who eat the shell of prawns. I don’t get why people don’t eat the shell of prawn. First, you save time because you don’t have to peel it. Second, you don’t have to dirty your hand while peeling. Third, it’s delicious. It might be hard to chew for the first few times but you will get used to it.
You’ll save money eating at non-touristy places. They taste the same anyway.
A staff from my accommodation came to fix the common room light while I was cooking dinner. After chatting for a while, he asked what am I going to do after graduation. To work in Scotland or to return to China.
Well, umm, I kinda told him I’m not from China and he got a shock. HAHA. I don’t even have a China accent though…
He then asked me what is the capital of Singapore. The capital of Singapore is Singapore HAHAHA. I mean I could be funny and said it’s Orchard but nah…
The staff is super nice though, but I’m just not used to the small talk culture yet.
