Once again, if you are as dumb as me, you will visit a park during winter.
But the good thing is, Duthie Park have a winter garden! Which means I get to see healthy, living plants. The winter garden made the whole walk worth it.
From Kincorth Hill, it takes about 30 minutes to walk towards Duthie Park. An easy walk, did not get lost but I went to marts to look around. I realise there are a lot of Subway in Aberdeen, or maybe it is just the areas I went to.
Walked past River Dee again. Lots of those white duck-looking birds flying around it. I think they are seagulls? Those white, scary-looking, huge, flying ducks. HAHAHA
Duthie park is way more lively than Kincorth Hill, and definitely not gloomy. More people are spotted here, some with kids and some with pets. I think it is a weekend hang out spot for the people there? I do notice that their car park was full when I left at about 10 or 11am.
River Dee is this really long river. I have no idea how far it goes because I don’t see the end on the map but Wikipedia says it flows from South Aberdeenshire to the North Sea.
If you see this, you are at the right place.
The playground is very well maintained but surprisingly, no one was there. Maybe because it was wet. I wanted to play on the swing but there are melting ice on it 🙁 It looks fun for a summer visit though.
