Okay, so today is a tiring day. Woke up late because I am sleep-compensating. My last legit sleep was on MONDAY so yes I am very sleep deprived.
Went to 珠海! Have to cross the border because 珠海 is in China. 🇨🇳 We took a free shuttle bus to the customs.
Macau custom is really fast but god the China custom is really slow. They only had 2 counters open for foreigners and I think we were in the queue for like 30 minutes. It is not because the queue is long, but more like the process? China custom requires foreigners to scan their fingerprints. Not just the thumb but all 10 fingers. I’m guessing the elderly in front couldn’t figure out how to use it because I clear the custom really fast.
So 珠海… I went there once when I was younger. The layout is still the same.

Zhuhai | 31°C
Went to eat at a Japanese restaurant that Mummy likes. Also my first Japanese meal since August 2017. The restaurant plays kpop though.
I had a curry udon. Not spicy (as expected). It is pretty average, nothing special. Daddy also got me a clam soup which tastes like diluted miso soup with clams. Not the best clam soup I ever had, but it isn’t bad. Clams were good though.
Went off shopping afterwards. Mummy and I went to a shop and spent RMB430 on a bunch of clothes. It better be good because most of my clothes are in Dundee.
Then we had to find Daddy because he stayed in the Japanese restaurant to settle some office stuff. The wifi there isn’t the best and we had a lot of problems because…
Whatsapp and Gmail are blocked in China
I only realise it after connecting to a strong wifi but my WhatsApp messages are still not sending. Then I remembered most Chinese uses Wechat and I’m like, right… China can’t use WhatsApp.
So I tried to send Daddy a Wechat message but he doesn’t use the app anymore.
04:08 p.m.
So I sent daddy an email using my school email since it uses outlook. Gosh, and this is how we gain contact.
Then he said he is sitting near a blue cactus at Ohoo city. Mummy and I went but could not find a blue cactus. In the end, we met at the entrance. Only saw the blue cactus when we went Ohoo city together afterwards.
Bought a mango cake, durian bread, peanut-shaped puff and lychee back.
Daddy took an express lane at the China customs back. Apparently, he got a cut queue card. But the card isn’t for family but the custom officer still let us cross. Thank god because the queue is really long

Dinner is at Din Tai Feng! 小笼包!!
10:21 p.m.
Just saying but Macau and 珠海 is really hot. It is so hot that I felt my nose being stuffy when I’m under the sun.
I miss Dundee’s temperature.
