Do you believe in life after death?
There isn’t a scientific answer to it. Religiously, it was supposed to be a life after death. But nobody ever proved it to be true.
If there is a life after death, then all is good. I can atone for my mistakes made in this lifetime.
But if death is a final sleep that nobody ever wakes up from, I hope that I’ll dream a happy dream for an eternity. Let this lifetime be a happy one, so that when I slip into my final nap in this lifetime, I will dream of this life over again and sleep in eternal bliss.
我想要的幸福不是一般平凡人可以得到的。他们都说平凡也可以幸福，但我不认为。人生短短几十年。我不想要草草地活过一生。也许不能与牛顿或爱迪生比较，可我还是希望可以留些知识在这世上。人过了些时间会被遗忘，可知识却是永远。我要的幸福，就是能够在我不存在的时候，当世界已经忘了从前有过我的时候，还能找到我留下的痕迹。
这或许就是我这生最想要的。若真的做到了，我真的会开心幸福吗？还是会贪心地去追求更不可能的目标？
死无遗憾是大家都想要的。但能做到的也没几个。我想要开心的过这一世，却能让我开心的事非常难得。如果我平凡一些，我会比较快乐吗？
Perhaps I cannot be Neil Armstrong or even Buzz Aldrin. But I would be honoured to be one of the engineers who played a part in sending them to the moon. Because if I hadn’t played a part, perhaps their name would not be left in history.
