This is another extremely late post from a trip before I even matriculate into University. I guess I was really worn out from work during those days that I didn’t even have time to post about it.
Went to Farmart with Pear and Cheryl on 23/6/17 because we wanted to feed the animals. We travelled to CCK as we wanted to take the shuttle bus in, but they did not provide clear instructions on where to queue for the shuttle bus on their website. We were in luck because a shuttle bus just stopped where we were waiting at and it happened to be their bus. There wasn’t a clear sign that it belongs to Farmart but whatever, as long as we made it in. They stopped the shuttle bus service in 2018 though.
We got the whole bus to ourselves because we went when school reopened to avoid the kids. The farm itself is huge. There are food stalls and I remembered there is someone fanning otah. There is also a pet shop, some exotic animal meat shop and furniture stalls? There is even a prawning area but our main goal is to feed the animals.
Had to pay for the animal food but it wasn’t very expensive. I don’t remember the price though. The uncle selling the food was really nice, he even introduced the animals to us. There were parrots, rabbits, frogs etc. A lot of mosquitoes too.
Overall, Farmart is a good experience and a very good place to de-stress. I should have gone there after exams but sadly I only heard of the place after graduation. It’s just relaxing to watch fluffy animals eat.
