Went for lunch together with my colleagues (or do I call them lab seniors since I’m an intern?). We went out of SGH to eat (yay, because hospital food is crap). There is this place called Wang Tian Kitchen which is just across Heart Centre. Mainly sell like zi char food at very affordable price.
I got their Mee Goreng which is really nice. I was warned that it might be spicy but to me it is like, not spicy? My spicy tolerance didn’t drop that much after all. It’s really good but they gave me too much veggie. The Mee Goreng even comes with fish slices and small prawns (but they hide it under the noodles for some reason that I don’t know). Quite worth it, plus it was only $5. The place has air con too, so wowza. Budget food!
Told ah ma that I’ll bring her there when she comes to SGH for her back appointment. I really like the place. But lunch time would be packed, and you’ll have to share tables because it is a small shop. Other than that, it is really a good lunch spot. I’ll remember this place in case I really get a job here after graduation hehe.
