Ah ma came to SGH for her back check-up. Which is like super stupid because the doctor just looked at the film, say “don’t hurt your back again”, prescribed a year worth of calcium supplements and gave a follow-up appointment a year later. But to be fair the ortho doctor is cute uh, but he looked a little blur.
The queue to make payment was super long so I went back to the lab to do my first solo western blot (which turns out crappy). They really gave a year worth of calcium pills and it cost only a little more than $2 after all the subsidies. LOL that’s fucking cheap.
The system is really stupid though. The queue for payment and collecting medication is so long. I saw this elderly auntie flare up after waiting for an hour. They have so many counters but less than half is opened/manned.
And you wonder why the elderly have to wait so long.
We went to Wang Tian Kitchen to eat because I told her there is a store near SGH that sells pretty good Zi Char food. She got a fried dong fen and I got the seafood Hor Fun that I wanted to try the previous time I came here. The Hor Fun was okay, but I preferred the Mee Goreng. I tried a bit of the dong fen and it tastes decent. I only paid $11 for 2 dishes and a drink. Freaking cheap considering that it is at an air-con place.
I’ll miss this stall when I end my internship T.T
