Out for lunch today! Went to eat with my colleague and her supervisor, who is an oncologist that is doing research here.
Initially, we were going to Tiong Bahru to eat but the doctor suggested a café that is on the way there, so we went there to eat. The doctor was nice enough to treat us. KEKEKE. #doctorsarenice #someonly
The café sells like rice bowl, but they had a pasta option and I really want my noodles, so I chose the tom yum pasta. I think they mentioned that the café was renovated recently.
Really nice food, and it is spicy enough for me. Nice lunch. Not too expensive too. But the fact that they served eat in food in disposable utensils and bowl kind of irritates(?) me. Feels like a waste and environmentally not friendly.
I really really want to return back to SGH to work sia. After being introduced to all the good food. And good people. Plus, it is not too far from my house too. Please have a vacancy when I graduate heol.
Saw an auntie while on our way back. She has a very severe hunchback (almost a right angle in fact) and she was pushing a trolley of cardboard at such a hot weather. Felt bad for her. Wish I could do something for her back. It sure looks uncomfortable. I mean, I have shit spine too so I would know. It’s sad though because she was collecting right behind SGH, but how come no ortho doctor helped her? If only I have the ability to help her… I need to get rich quicker T.T
