It’s the second last day of internship! Ran the second half of western blot today and IT SUCCEEDED! Finally!
I put quite a bit of pressure on myself because I really wanted to prove that I can run an experiment well before the internship ends. The results today were perfect! Thank you, god of science!
Went to Tiong Bahru Market to eat again. This time I had the Char Kway Teow but although it is edible, it isn’t the best, to be honest. As usual, 一分钱，一分货。I paid $3 only so I should only expect $3 quality heh?
I also got a terrible shock today. Apparently, my junior from poly is interning at NCCS and isn’t… doing well? Kind of embarrassing, to be honest. It’s good to be ambitious, especially if you want to succeed in science. But you cannot rush things. It takes time to pick up the skills.

Mummy bought Jiu Xian dessert! I don’t really get why my sister loves it though. It just tastes like normal dessert but is extremely expensive. Also, I don’t like the coloured thingy. I think they are yam or something…
