To celebrate Ah Ma’s birthday, the whole family went to this Nonya buffet (Chilli Padi Nonya Café) at NUS for lunch. It’s our second time there. Not sure whether the changed the menu but I’m sure that our first visit was better. Didn’t really have much food that interests me. JY and I had a lot of rojak though. The curry noodle was okay, but the mee siam was weird. Surprisingly, their pork rib soup was really good. Had like 3 bowls (or 4).

Went to Giant afterwards to buy items that I need to bring back to Dundee. Didn’t really buy much, just got like a few packs of instant porridge and an instant noodle. JY on the other hand, bought stupid stuff just because they were selling at 4 for $5. I can say for certain she is just wasting money. Haiz…
Also went over to Ikea so that I can try their new soy ice cream. Not bad, better than the vanilla one. But the bean taste is a little too strong. $0.50 soy ice cream though. Goodbye Mr Bean’s soy ice cream.
