Amelia and I planned to go to WWW and Prata buffet for quite some time and we fixed it on 4th September, but guess what?
We didn’t go to either.
It was raining when I woke up and true to the weather forecast, it was a heavy rain. I still went down to Pasir Ris and for once I was on time, but that woman isn’t. I ended up meeting her at Bedok. Since she hasn’t had breakfast, we went to KFC so that she could eat. Then, I wanted to see the arcade at djitsun mall but life had other plans. We decided to have an impromptu K session (even though I just went yesterday). Since it was still early, we went to Timezone to kill time. Played a few rounds of DDR. Man, we sure aged a lot.
This was the song I used to play a lot at Hougang Mall’s Timezone when I was still young. I was able to get A grade back then but now I barely scrape pass a C. But on the brighter side, I can still get S for the slower songs though.
After Timezone, we managed to book Teoheng and headed straight there. My voice kept cracking because I strained it yesterday. By the last 30 minutes, my throat was begging me not to sing anymore. I gave up by the last few minutes and just lie down on the sofa to mumble the lyrics LOL.
I told Amelia I want to eat prawn aglio olio (remember the craving I had when I met Chermaine, but Pastamania didn’t really satisfy). We went to the Marina something mall for Pizza Hut which turns out to be the one I went with the class and Dr Koh. Though the layout is different. And before going to Pizza Hut, we went to this shop which sells really adorable gifts and we got matchy pouch for us and Pearlyn. Bringing that to Dundee!
I’ll be honest, the pasta was okay, but the service was horrid. The server and manager (the one counting money and wearing blue?) didn’t really seem happy to serve us and barely said a word when we ordered or when serving us the food. Didn’t even give us cutlery. But whatever, for cheap and good aglio olio, I shall not bother the service.
Amelia didn’t believe when I told her the curry baked rice will have cheese. I always thought baked rice is cheese and rice that is baked in the oven. Turns out I’m right, there’s cheese.
Rushed to Mos Burger to get the Ebi burger for Pearlyn’s Birthday surprise, which I will write in another post because today is a very hectic day. We also walked past the salad shop (the one that I cut my finger on my first day and quit). Lifei was there too, and she looked shocked to see me and Amelia there LOL. The manager was there too. Oops.
