Had steamboat at J & A’s house and it was good. I got the pot from Amazon because I want to cook multiple portions of pasta as part of my ‘prep meal’ goal. So basically I intend to prepare my meals in advance and keep it in the fridge until I want to eat them. This way, I can cook using fresh food and also reduce my reliance on junk food (aka my favourite instant noodles). Plus, I get so tired after lab recently because I usually get home at 7-8+pm. Cooking after 10-11 hours in lab is a huge no way.
I’m 21 already so it’s high time I eat like an adult too. I’m gonna start eating some veggies too but let’s see how it goes.
I got my first voucher from Swagbucks too! A £10 Amazon voucher. Initially, I wanted to buy a grill thingy, but I saw the pot and I thought that the pot would be way more useful to me. And it is super light, which means I can use it on my grad trip if needed.
Oh and, I found a new favourite place. There is a Tesco near Ninewells, which is bigger and quieter than Riverside’s. It’s damn good because now I can shop without fear of meeting acquaintances because I’m sure I don’t remember people and I don’t want to have an awkward convo with strangers. It’s near bus stops too so I don’t have to walk. Loving the weekly student pass HAHAHA. Even walking to town is tiring. I rather take the bus. I really don’t know how I am going to survive when lab ends because I won’t buy the pass. We’ll see when the time comes. Maybe I’ll get the 10 trips thing.
