I realised I never posted any photos from my OCIP trip in Vietnam, which was 3 years ago already! Just going to spam all the photos I can find. Used to have them on my phone but my useless phone died on me and I can only get these much back. Ok lol I found them on a old disgusting thumb drive. I really need a good thumb drive or the square big big stuff. IDK what it’s called LOL external hard drive? I need to keep my memories safe.
Back up your phones regularly and keep a copy of your photos somewhere.
Talking about the trip, I guess the most memorable parts would be:
- FREAKING CHEAP FOOD
- The school
- Working on the floor (which was tiring af but damn satisfying when it was finally done)
- Teaching the children (because they learn super fast and they play with me😂)
- The meals but not the washing
- Afternoon break time
- The hotel
- HAVE RATS! KT and I had to change room because I saw a rat behind the fridge one morning and the two of us were scared
- Then after we changed room, the new room HAVE RATS AGAIN. This time, KT saw it and I didn’t. The staff came up to kill it. RIP 🐭
- Breakfast was awesome
- Beach across the road which was the place we took our sunrise jump shot photo (below)
- The roadside stall that sells something like satay? For about 20 cents SGD per stick. DAMN GOOD DAMN WORTH IT.
- Cafe nearby – damn cheap, drinks were like $1 SGD
- The overnight train!
