I’m headed for an Iceland trip with my friends A, J and Y. Since there is no direct flight from Dundee to Iceland, we had to travel to Edinburgh Airport for our flight. I left Dundee early in order to catch the Christmas Market at Edinburgh.
Last minute packing
I had to pack my room too because there will be people coming over to change my house’s floor. No more carpet floor! Ended up with no sleep at all but I can still tolerate the drowsiness.
Left my flat early to catch a bus to city centre. Grabbed some instant noodles from the Asian mart before leaving for the train station.
Train ride to Edinburgh
The train ride was initially pleasant. I fell asleep after a while, until a kid board the same cabin and started to make annoying noises all the way until we alighted. Fucking hell kid.
Had lunch at Chopstix. The food is still good but not as tasty as last year. I wonder why.
Mixed base with BBQ chicken (£4.50)
My Edinburgh Christmas market tour was dampened by the horrid weather. It was raining heavily and the sky was dark. Could barely take any photos because rain kept dripping on my lens.

Dark sky
The Christmas market was so similar to previous year and many stalls look familiar. Nothing exciting I guess.
Left for the airport shortly after, which marks the start of my Iceland trip!
