First stop of the day was the Skógafoss Waterfall. This is one of the must-sees in Iceland.
It’s a pity that it was raining the entire day, so all the photos for day 2 are of horrible quality because the camera lens was constantly wet. The sky was dark too and all the photos came out too dark. Thank god for Vsco, though I have absolutely no idea how to edit properly.
I think this is probably the first waterfall I’ve seen in my life. I couldn’t recall seeing another waterfall. Maybe I did, but the memory of it got erased by my brain.
Anyway, the waterfall was huge! Could totally hear the sound of water crashing down from a distance away. The waterfall was really pretty even with the horrid weather and dark sky.
There is a stair going up to the observation deck. And it sure is tiring climbing up. It’s possible but very very tiring (for someone with zero stamina). Not only that, the steps of the stair are really scary because there are holes(?) on it. Not the holes because of damage, but it’s just the design. Kinda like those gates(?) design. Also, it shakes if people walk forcefully on it. Going up was tiring, but going down was height-phobia triggering. I was just holding on to the handrail the whole way down.
The waterfall is pretty❤❤❤
