After we returned to Reykjavík city centre, we went straight for dinner. Café Loki is situated near our Airbnb, and just across the road from Hallgrimskirkja.
I’m not so adventurous with my food so I got the fish of the day. It was a good decision. I like how it came with sweet potatoes instead of fries. Maybe because I haven’t had sweet potatoes for a long time. 😅 The fish taste better when you spam lots of black pepper though. Maybe because it’s steamed(?), so it’s a little bland and the house sauce isn’t flavourful enough.
Got the rye bread ice cream for dessert and it’s good!! It comes in a small cup with whipped cream on top. I usually don’t find ice cream special because they all taste the same, but this one is special. I would have another serving but that ice cream is expensive. 💸💸
And this concludes Iceland Trip Day 2.
