Everyone woke up early that morning because we had a flight to catch. I’ll miss the Airbnb, it’s really nice. Would be very happy if my future house looks like that but… SG doesn’t have that kind of luxury.
Ok, let me tell you our dumb story. So, I had to wait a long time at Manchester Airport for the bag screening so being paranoid, we reached the airport very early. And when we reached the bag screening…
It was empty!
Yay… But for some reason, I triggered the detector and had to get ‘molested’ by the female security LOL. I can swear that I had nothing that could trigger that shit off. That machine must be faulty.
Yea whatever. So like once we entered, there’s nothing for us except to head to boarding gate, which had no seats available for us. We went to the smoking area for breakfast, which honestly wasn’t the most enjoyable experience for me but beggars can’t be choosers. We had more than an hour till takeoff after all.
Last Bockwurst for the trip. Really hahaha.
We saw a Scoot flight heading to SG while eating breakfast. It was supposed to leave way before our flight. Like, they were boarding when we sat down for breakfast. But they didn’t leave. They kept calling for a passenger that didn’t show up. I think they only took off right before us, which is a very long delay for the passengers who had to tahan like 10 hours of flight back to SG. On a budget airline…
Oh and guess what?! Easyjet made an announcement for volunteers to check in their carry-on luggage for free. We jumped on that deal LOL. It’s always easier to have it checked it than to bring it up to the plane. Plus it’s free, so why not.
Flight was okay I guess. Typical Easyjet flight but no delay that day, so yay.
We had time to spare while waiting for our bus, so we just chilled at Costa for a while.
Headed to the bus towards Victoria bus station, which is like almost 2 hours ride but I survived. Went on to take the tube towards Airbnb. Long and tiring journey but we made it! Nua-ed a long time at Airbnb before leaving for Chinatown for a short trip and dinner.
Chinatown is really… Chinese HAHAHA. Many Chinese stuff around, things that you don’t get to see in Dundee often.
Splurged on dinner, which is Korean food. Quite expensive because the total adds up to roughly £40+ but it is worth it. Super delicious and probably the best soup I had for the year.
We walked around Chinatown a little, went to the more famous shops like lego store and M&M shop and that’s pretty much all for the day.
