Went to Spatial Collective at Hougang today because I need to be productive. 3 more weeks to the end of the semester and I have a butt load of assignments to complete by then while running lab work.
Saw the ad for Spatial Collective last week and I thought it was a god-sent for me to help me be productive over the weekend. Was tempted to buy their half-day pass package but like a normal scientist, I decided to try a sample before committing to the package. Thank god for my logic because it was a huge disappointment.

One of their main selling points was the free snacks and drinks but there is barely anything there. Small selection and most are overpriced, premium stuff. But this wasn’t the worst part because you can bring your own food and drinks in.
Intially was productive 
Then my wifi stopped working and I couldn’t access my files on the cloud

I was initially productive at the start but like 2 hours in, the wifi started to fail and just stopped working shortly after. Like bruh, if your wifi is unreliable, don’t tell me there’s wifi so I will prepare offline materials before going. Knowing very well there’s wifi (they did mention in their confirmation email), I went with my materials saved on the cloud. I was planning to do my research assignment FFS, not my fucking TYS like the other O level kids. I needed the wifi. There’s no staff on site so I texted the number on the table but till now, nobody responded yet.
I can’t do anything without wifi so I decided to leave early before my time is up. Will never go back there again. Go at your own risk people. It’s cheap and near home but totally not worth it. Would rather go to library to study for free. At least wifi is stable at public library and never failed on me before.
Haiz, lost $8.90 and some lunch money but lesson learned. Don’t visit places with no reviews. Tried to leave a review on their Facebook page but I can’t (it ended up posting on my feed for some reason).
Pray for me, I’m gonna try to be productive at home now. Still annoyed that a few hours there.
